Summer Camps

Our Summer Camps are closed for the year but we’re busy planning next year’s Youth Apprentice Program.  In the meantime, take a look at this year’s program details – we’ll be back with more exciting programs for young people next year!

Let Clear Creek Community Theatre nurture your child’s passion for theater this summer! Through creative drama games and exercises, rehearsals and performances, your child will develop skills in acting, singing and dancing, while also building self-confidence, learning how to work in a team, making friends and having fun!

 Session I 


Lewis, Clark, & the Wild Wild West

June 6-July 10 Classes Mon-Fri 10am to 1:30pm
Performances July 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 at 11am & Matinees on Sat. & Sun., July 9 & 10 at 2:30pm

Session I tells the story of Lewis and Clark as they set off to discover America. They quickly get lost and find themselves caught up in the misadventures of Johnny Appleseed and Davy Crockett before finding themselves in an epic stand-off between the Lone Ranger and Billy the Kid.

Geared towards the younger theatre students age 6 -14,  Students will learn theater basics including: scenic crafts, movement and acting skills – all culminating in a week of performances that are open to the community. 

Session I begins June 6 and runs through July 10.  Classes will be held from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm Monday through Friday.  Late registration will remain open until June 10th or until the maximum enrollment is reached.

Session II

July 6-Aug 20 Classes Monday-Friday 2pm-5:30pm
Performances Aug. 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 & 20 at 7pm

Geared towards theatre students age 12 – 18.  The focus of this session is on improv, honest reactions, and on making bold and clear choices.   “James and the Giant Peach” centers on a young English orphan boy who enters a gigantic, magical peach and has a wild and surreal cross-world adventure with seven magically-altered garden bugs he meets. The session ends with public performances.

Session II begins July 6 and runs through August 20th. with public performances August 11th, 12th, 13th, 18th, 19th & 20th. Classes meet each weekday from 2:00 – 5:30 PM through August 13. Performances will be held at CCCT at 7:00 PM on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
